Silent Revolution has a nice selection of cleanly designed bags. As they put it, it’s “their effort to create futuristic and minimal bags reflective of the digital age in which we live”. Silent Revolution was started by Andrea Toyias, a self taught designer in LA. Some of her inspiration comes from minimalist architecture and design, and the clean lines in her bags clearly show this. She also said one of her biggest inspirations, not so much design wise, but ethos-wise, is Radiohead. She says (like many of us have said), when Kid A came out, it changed her life. The use of sound to create such distinct textures and rhythms inspired her, and she tries to sort of “translate” that into her designs. Check the bags out, she has everything from record bags to girlie clutches.
