Hi guys.

Here’s the deal: We’re on a mission to give you more of what you want. Things are evolving, as always, here at joshspear.com, and we’d love to hear your feedback. Your input is essential to helping us make sure we wind up with something useful, and not just, like, a third boob which at the beginning may seem like lots of fun, but really ends up being totally weird.

So today — if you don’t mind sparing a minute or two — tell us what we’re doing that you like. Or hate. Or wish we had, but don’t. Tell us anything you want, because we are going to hang on every word (because if not for you, we are not, etc, etc). Unless, of course, they are stupid suggestions wherein we’ll politely ignore them in public and laugh about them in private. Kidding!

Happy weekend.

Hey. I read this blog everyday. Its like a porthole for me into a lot of the crazy design world that I can’t keep up on. You are like my personal shopper…bringing me a bunch of cool shit to sift through. I am a T shirt designer..not the hipster independent type..more like the corporate type that designs for the hipster dude’s lil sis back home…but I am constantly online checking out trends and innovation and seeing the variety of stuff you guys put up is really nice…after researching Mall Kids all day joshspear.com is very refreshing…

I’d really like to see more sneaker stuff. Thats what first brought me here. I guess it’s mostly just because there’s so many other contributors these days. I also love the t-shirts you guys show. It’s a great site. Keep it up guys.

Since I am long gone from the tee-shirt and sneaker demographic what I most like about the site are the ‘design discoveries’ from places I have never before thought about. I’ve found it essential to add two josh-tipped Brazilian sites to my blogroll and I don’t read Portuguese!

Also I just love the name Heather Snodgrass!

And her writing style is nice, too.

If she doesn’t know already a writer called ‘petiteanglaise” she might enjoy making her acquaintance.

As an avid everyday reader, i lvoe the site and posts but i’m a little annoyed of late at the sheer amount of posts everyday. its ahrd to spend 20 mins going through them all as i’m sure a lot of us do. i appreciate the new writers and new stuff coming to the site but perhaps cutting back a little but wouldnt hurt… at least so new posts stayon the front page for a day or so.
:)

I don’t think I make enough money to read this blog.

Hi : )

It’s very hard have enough time to read everything has been posted on this site.
Maybe the informations could be splitted in 2-3 different sites? It’s only a crazy idea…
This layout doesn’t emphasise the value of reader contributions.
I think the past articles list as it is is quite useless; some little preview sure can be more effective.

JohnK Monday, 07.16.07 @ 12:49 pm

Heather, nice to see you’re writings for the blog. I’ve worked with Josh over years doing the blogs survey…if you’d like all the comments from that, I’d be happy to share.

Zolton Monday, 07.16.07 @ 1:47 pm

Hey Josh, I always enjoy reading your posts. Unlike a lot of other blogs out there, yours are clearly crafted entries rather than off-the-cuff stream of consciousness. My only complaint is that the pics are a little small. I like things to pop visually and it would be nice to see more of the things you talk about.

I read every day and the only thing I think I would read more off is maybe coverage on more places and hotels
