Tra Selhtrow was born in what he calls ‘the middle of nowhere’ Kansas. He graduated from the Colmbus College of Art & Design in ‘00. His portfolio of illustrations, prints, paintings, and unique drawings are witty, awe evoking, and just plain old fun. His illustrations have graced magazine covers, like The Deal– but what I find most inspiring of his work are his bird series prints. He takes the usual shape of the bird, and adds human like attritbutes to the animal; hands, and feet. This print “Brandt’s Cormorant” is a 3 color silk screen in a limited edition of 50.
