Hot on the heels of Jessica Nebel’s Pixel It poster comes the next step in the mass-customization game. Again, the kids over at Design Spotter are all over it. Designer Jeni Rodgers has taken the usual brown, scruffy welcome mat and turned it into a fully customizable experience for everyone who enters your home.

Her Welcome Mat uses a variety of fonts on interchangeable tiles to create endless possibilities of what can be said to your guests. Anything from a simple “hello” to a more direct “get the @#$% off my porch” becomes a possibility with just a couple minutes worth of work. Not much info on pricing or production, but we’ve already sent off a “hello” to Jeni and we’ll see what she says.
